Our first date:)

So the time had come it was the Saturday that would change my life forever. As I was only fifteen so my friend was going to drive us everywhere, at this point Matt was getting ready to serve his Mission in Nebraska and had just gotten his wisdom teeth out so he was feeling kinda in the dumps. There was a big group of us that went to the dance to we split up are day dates, my group went shootin and the other group did something else, sorry don't remember. In our group there was a girl that had asked my cousin Chase which turns into a nightmare for everyone, but more of that later.
We went shooting and part of the date was we had to find all our eating utensils scattered through American Fork, so it was like cops and robbers. We had bright orange shirts on, Matt was thrilled you could see it all over his face. Anyways as we are trying to find all this stuff and not trying to get caught by the other team, the girl who was driving was unreal scared all of us to death and almost ran over a little kid in the process. We get back to my house were my parents had fixed dinner we had BBQ chicken and potato's. Matt was trying his hardest to eat but just was having a hard time with having his wisdom teeth out. So this same girl tells him to pretty much man up and throws tin foil at his head. He looked at me like I'm going to kill her!!! Before we headed out to the dance we were telling my family how this girl almost killed us, so my mom asked Matt if he would drive the rest of the night which really made this girl mad!! Well we end up at the dance and only stayed a hour or so, we thought it would be fun to go toilet paper a house and at this time this girl was mad at me and being rude to Chase so she sat in the car and wouldn't get out so my poor cousin sat there with her in silence. I turned to Matt and said lets just drop everyone off, so I go to take him home and we still had this girl and my cousin in the car we walk in to Matt's house and Michelle his sister was still awake and wanted to hear about the date. So we ended up taking them home and coming back to Matt's house, we talked to his sister for awhile. During the date Matt had talked about how he loves to go on the wheeler, so I asked him when he was going to take me? He said whenever, so I told him lets go tomorrow. So he told me if I wanted to go I just need to call him when I got up. I was thinking this was perfect I would be able to get to know him a little better without everyone else around. But needless to say It was a first date that neither one of us will ever forget.

How we met:)

Forgive me now because I'm going back eleven years, so if I forget a few things I'm really sorry. So we grew up in the same ward together, Maralee Matt's mom was my young women's leader at the time so I knew of Matt and always thought that he was attractive. I made the mistake of telling my mother that I thought he was cute:) She told me that I should take him to the next upcoming dance at the High School, I told her he was already graduated and that he wouldn't want to go. Sheridoo told me to quick being a chicken and to just call him, I wouldn't so the next thing I know mom has his mom on the phone, my gut dropped I was so embarrassed!! The next thing I know is she is handing me the phone saying OK go ahead and ask. So this is how are first conversation goes.
Me, " Hi, this is Ashlee Fraughton."
Matt, "Hi"
Me, "So I was wondering if you like to go to Sadie's with me."
-Silence for a few moments-
Matt, ''Sure"
Me, " OK I'll let ya know what the plans are."
Matt, " Sounds good"
Me, " k bye"
Matt, "bye"
So needles to say I felt like I could crawl into a box and die! And come to find out the acquired silence was him looking at his mother going do I really have to go, and Maralee's rule was whoever asked ya, you go!! So the poor thing had to be a super senior and go to the high school dance with me.

Our Happily Ever After

This is the story of Matt and I, I'm going to go back from the begining and compile everything together, that I remember:) So my kids can go back and see all of the fun things that their dad and I have done through the years. So this might take awhile but I promise it will be great!!
